Description and Key Features

The reconstruction of the Saka Swamp Crossing on the Kaliro-Pallisa National Road Network focuses on improving access and infrastructure in eastern Uganda. The crossing was constructed with various culverts, including six lines of 2.5 m diameter, three lines of 2.1 m diameter, and several other lines of different diameters to manage water flow. Our team carried out geotechnical and soil investigations, topographical and cadastral surveys, hydrological assessments, and geometric road and pavement designs to ensure a durable and efficient solution.
